Printers
Because sublimation ink is heat-activated, in order to work with sublimation printing, a print head must impart no heat during the ink dispersion process. Printers that utilise this advanced print head technology developed by Epson, include Epson, Roland and Mimaki printers. In the sublimation industry, printers that are 44” wide and above are considered "wide format" printers. They are considerably faster and more cost effective than desktop sublimation systems.
We have rigorously tested each recommended printer's performance and compatibility with our ink solutions. You can feel confident that our Recommended Printers are production level machines that are tried and true!
